My thoughts on the game...
1.First of all the defense played great!
2.The call at end of first half was awful how is that not a TD???
3.Great offensive stragety all game
4. O line play solid minus a few costly penalties
5.JRus HAS to be more accurate! Lack of accuracy killed chance for more points
6.Murphy looks great! Heyward Bey... not so much
7.Finally, the coaches cost us the game! Why would you run a soft prevent defense for the last two drives of the game when you been absolutely annihilating their offense all game long in man coverage with a safety over the top??? Instead of sticking to whats working we go into prevent defense allow Rivers to checkdown for 10 yds every play and lose the game... I think he was like 12 for 13 on last two drives... Makes no sense at all to me. Patriots had similiar situation and what they did was kept pressure on Edwards, forced his hand, and won the game easily at the end... thats how you end a game, not allow them a chance to win keep doing what is working!JOHN MARSHALL GREAT JOB ALL GAME UNTIL PREVENT SCHEME...
